Stephen McKenna, Head of PlanningStephen
McKenna has worked in the public and private sectors for over 25
years as a chartered town and country planning specialist, advising
on various aspects of planning.
He has specialist skills in delivering major projects and
negotiating them through the policy hurdles of development plan
policy, economic regeneration strategies, partnership and
engagement and implementation issues such as development economics,
funding, legal agreements and ownership.
Stephen runs our landuse planning team, where one of his key
clients is the Planning Advisory Service, which provides support to
UK local authorities in development control and development plans,
and involves delivery of bespoke training. He takes a proactive
approach to sustainability, building it into our project during the
scoping stage.
